Brest

Herr Generalmajor!
I would like to welcome you in the headquarter of Generalfeldmarschall Fedor von Bock, the commander of Army Group Center. Our army group is the largest one of all three army groups that are participating in Operation Barbarossa. Our operation area is under the 9th army of Generaloberst Adolf Strauß, including the 3rd Panzergroup of Generaloberst Hermann Hoth, the 2nd Panzergroup of Generaloberst Heinz Guderian and the 4th Army of Generalfeldmarschall Günther von Kluge. We have concentrated 930 tanks and 49 infantry divisions in this area. Additionally our allies Hungary and Slovakia have sent us supporting forces.
You shall now advance rapidly and surprise the Russian armies. The key factor in Operation Barbarossa will be the element of surprise. The commander in chief of the Luftwaffe has given us several strong bomber formations. With these it should be possible to destroy the Russian airforce already on their airfields. Once we have reached the air superiority you should advance quickly and secure all Russian supply depots to prevent a further mobilization of the Red Army.
Dismissed!

DV:
An outstanding achievement, Herr Generalmajor!
Our advance is running on schedule. The majority of the Soviet planes have been destroyed !

MV:
Good job, Herr Generalmajor!
Our advance is running on schedule.

LO:
It's a disaster, Herr Generalmajor.
After all of your successes how have you managed such a bitter defeat? OKW is shocked. You are ordered to return to Berlin at once for debriefing! I shall provide you a plane to immediately escort you there under guard. Fare thee well, Herr General!

Pripjatsümpfe

Please come in, Herr Generalmajor!
Your units are located around Brest und Pinsk. In addition, your forces will be strengthened by some Hungarian and Slovakian regiments.
Your task will be to advance towards the Pripyat Marshes. Only a few roads are usable and most of the area is difficult terrain. The objective is to occupy Kovel, Manevchi and Luts´k.
The OKW will be very pleased if you were also able to capture the stations along the railway line Brest – Sokal, but watch out for partisans !
Good luck, Herr Generalmajor!

DV:

An excellent performance by you and your men, Herr Generalmajor!
Now it will be much easier to provide our troops with supplies. Although the Soviets call their war efforts "Great Patriotic War", they won't be able to stop us !

MV:

Herr Generalmajor, you must advance more quickly.
If not we will fail to complete the campaign in time. Now, we can advance towards the Ukraine.
Unfortunately you were incapable to capture the railway line Brest - Sokal. Therefore it is pretty difficult to provide our troops with supplies!

Kesselschlachten bei Bialystok und Minsk:

Greetings, Herr Generalmajor!
On June 26 Finland has declared war on Russia. This will significantly ease the Heeresgruppe Nord. The time has come to deal a heavy blow to the Soviets.
Large parts of the Red Army are trapped at Bialystok. In addition, Stalin prohibits to retreat.
This is our opportunity - destroy the Bialystok pocket and advance to Minsk !
Good luck !

DV:

Herr Generalmajor!
Generalfeldmarschall Fedor von Bock, the commander of Army Group Center, has personally proposed you for a promotion.
From now on, you hold the rank of Generalleutnant. Congratulations!
But: Stalin has appealed to the general population to offer utmost resistance to the advancing enemy troops even to the point of sacrificing their lives...

Witebsk:

Please take a seat, Herr Generalleutnant.
Our goal is to advance at the Dnepr as well as the cities Witebsk and Orsha. Unfortunately, only a few troops from Hungary and Slovakia will support your forces.
That's why your troops will be strengthened by an elite unit, arriving in a few days at Hlybokaje.
You should expect tenacious defense from the Soviets at Witebsk !

DV:

You are to be commended for your efforts, Herr Generalleutnant!
You have secured all of your objectives in a surprise attack ! In addition, I have some good news for you: Yakov Dzhugashvili, one of Joseph Stalin's three children, was taken prisoner !

MV:

Although you were not able to secure all of your objectives, you have captured sufficient enough for victory. But you are behind schedule already, so rally your forces and continue the advance!

No time for pleasantries today, Herr Generalleutnant,
the situation is becoming more critical by the hour !
The challenge ahead is to cross the Dnepr although Russian forces have blown up all bridges over the river.
A few bridging engineers will support your forces. Search for a suitable place to cross the river and continue the advance !
I also have an additionally task for you: escort the „Armee-Nachrichten-Regiment 511“ from Wadechy to the airfield at Vyzhimaki.
Dismissed !

DV:

Herr Generalleutnant!
By order of the Supreme Commander of the Wehrmacht, I award you the Knight's Cross ! My congratulations!

Vorstoß zum Jelnjabogen: 15.07.1941

Good morning, Herr Generalleutnant !
We have set out a detailed plan for how to trap the Soviets at Smolenks again. Your task will be to advance south of Somlensk towards the Jelna-bend.
In the north of Smolensk, Panzergruppe 3 commanded by Generaloberst Hermann Hoth, will push forward.
As you can see on the map, not even a single railway line and only a few roads are usable.
The OKW will be very pleased if you were also able to destroy the prototype of a new multiple rocket launcher in the north of Pochink !
Good luck !

DV:

Well done ! Thanks to your success in destroying the rocket launcher, our scientists will be able to gain new insights into the hostile weapon technology.
We are about to capture Smolensk. Besides that, nearly 200 bomber started dropping the first bombs at Moscow !
Keep it up !

Smolensk: 25.07.1941

Herr Generalleutnant,
finally we were able to link up and close the pocket of Smolensk with about 300.000 men and 3.000 tanks trapped.
Now it's time to capture Somolensk. We are going to strike on all fronts at the same time.
To the northwest of Smolensk is the central archive of the the Soviet NKVD. Once the archive is taken, some lorries will will be sent to you to dispatch the files. Escort them to the airfield near Safanovo.
Additionally, your troops will be strengthened by the SE-Regiment „Der Führer“.
We will meet again in Smolensk !

DV:

Herr Generalleutnant!
More than 310,000 men have been taken prisoner due to your efforts. Besides that, you were able to capture the NKVD files.
The reconnaissance owes you an enormous debt of gratitude !
By order of the Supreme Commander of the Wehrmacht, I award you the Close Combat Clasp in silver. My congratulations!

Schlacht zwischen Roslawl und Gomel: 01.09.1941

The Führer himself has forbidden to advance further towards Moscow. Now we have to proceed southwards.
Your forces are located at Roslawl. In the south-west of your position large Soviet formations have been reported. We will try to trap them too.
Advance to the south towards Pochep. From there continue westwards !
Maybe it is useful to use the troops which are located at Gomel to stall the hostile forces.
I am sure you will crush them, Herr Generalleutnant !
Dismissed !

DV:

A superb performance, Herr Generalleutnant !
Your decisive advance on all fronts was a classic example of offensive maneuver ! Now we can advance further towards Moscow.
Be cautious ! The temperature is significantly colder than normal for this time of the year. Hopefully the weather won't interfere with our plans.

Doppelschlacht bei Wjasma und Brjansk: 02.10.1941

Herr Generalleutnant,
your new orders are to advance towards Moscow !
Due to the long lulls in the fighting, the Soviets were able to set up a new line of defense between Wjasma and Brjansk.
Your forces are located at Smolensk as well as at Roslawl. It is up to you how you will manage to occupy Wjasma and Brjansk.
A high-ranked political commissar is suspected at the division command post close to Tula. Once he is taken prisoner escort him to the airfield near Smolensk.
For this task, two paratroop regiments have been placed at your disposal. They will arrive soon.
Dismissed !

DV:

Herr Generalleutnant,
your successful assault and capture of the political commissar has made quite an impression at OKW !
Despite that, I have some bad news for you: The rumor says the Hungarian would be subtracted from the eastern front.

MV:

The Heeresgruppe Süd is heading towards Charkow and Belgorod. Our goal is still Moscow. Unfortunately, still no winter equipment is available for your men...
Your forces are located at Wjasma and Zubtsov. Advance immediately towards Moscow, we just need a few weeks of good weather to conquer the Soviet capital !
The destiny of the German people will be decided here !

DV:

An excellent performance by you and your men, Herr Generalleutnant !
Nevertheless, because of the bad weather we have to cancel the offensive on Moscow. Under these circumstances, we can not advance further.

Retreat your forces to Ruza, Volokolamsk and Solnechnogorsk and take position there.
If possible, ensure that the "Lazarettzug 024", "Nachrichten-Regiment 537" as well as Generalmajor Müller will survive this battle.
